I may have many talents -- cake decorating is NOT one of them. However, my son wanted an aircraft carrier birthday cake for his 5th birthday. There were none to be found to be bought, so I had to decorate it myself.
I am not a perfectionist, in any sense of the word. I am also not a detail oriented person, generally.
This cake exhibits both of those traits.
But hey, it tasted good. :)
Today, my little boy turned 5. It doesn't seem real, to me. He is no longer a "pre-schooler" but a little boy. There are some pictures of him coming up, so you will see that he is not that "little" either. :)
