Keeping Watch

Taken at Greenhill Cemetery in Waynesville, NC.

This cemetery is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, in the county. There are literally dozens of Civil War markers dotting the ground, as well as some Revolutionary ones (though obviously not as many). In the oldest section, there are several gravestones that go back to the late 17/early 1800s. Very historic.

What is kind of eerie is that every time I go, there are these crows flying around. They are *always* there perched on various markers. Spooky, but definitely adds interest to the pictures, I think.

Very nice capture, Karma.

Seems he really is "keeping watch". I'm really enjoying keeping up with your PAD as well. Sure hope I keep up with mine!
