You aren't good enough for president, but

maybe you would make a good VP

The whole logic of Hillary "letting" Obama be her running mate amuses me to no end.

My favorite quote from the article I linked to says, "But Obama and his allies feel this is more like an undesired arranged marriage, and a shotgun one at that."

No doubt.

I personally think Hillary has done so much to fracture the DNC right now that it would be suicide for Obama to pick her as his veep. I am more concerned about who McCain chooses--if he chooses the right veep, it might make him more palatable to conservatives. I lean toward Jindal from NOLA. He is young, articulate, intelligent almost to a fault, and he has done more than anyone thus far to help the rebuild post-Katrina.

And I do like the funky colors. been meaning to dress my blog up a bit, too.

I'm so far out of touch that I didn't know Jindal was even a consideration. I seem to remember liking what I saw about him, too.
