Blasting to the Past

A bit before my teenage years, but still popular as I got into Jr. High.

Good thing for YouTube...young people like you become acquainted with some of the best music in the world...and some of the best hair in the world!

I was 9 in 1979, but remember the band Styx. My mom wouldn't let my brother (who was 17) put their picture on the wall because Styx was the river through hell, or something like that.

Most of the songs I post like this, I either hear while driving around, or just remember.

Styx wrote "Babe?" All this time I thought it was REO Speedwagon. Good grief.

(And yeah, the River Styx was the river that separated the earth from the underworld. Greek mythology is one of our things.)

Hey Karma! I got into this one late. I missed it! Thanks for the video. I am a big STYX fan. Same for Journey, Foreigner, Stryper, the big hair bands. I agree with Steve. Perhaps young uns like you can continue to hear good music. :)
