My Lily started soccer yesterday, too. She scored one goal and her team is fantastic, winning 7-1. I know, I know, you don't keep score or standings in U-8 AYSO, but hey, I'm a dad (also asst coach) and very concerned that she does well.
If young master Shuford's games don't coincide with my Lily's, perhaps we can come and cheer for him some time, how about it?
Steve -- I really wish they had a different mascot, but somethings are next to impossible to change. Two of them being church potlucks after homecoming and Bethel's mascot.
Tony, We'll plan on it. Travis has also mentioned wanting to watch Lily play. (Technically, they didn't keep score yesterday. But, I did. >grin<)
