Children and Summer

I love taking children's portraits. Especially when it is in a non-studio setting, and I can just get them being them. :)

At what point do we stop just being kids? Having fun? Running barefooted through the pasture? Skipping rocks?

I miss being a kid!

Don't tell anyone who these children are, or McCain and Obama will be calling to rent them for a photo op!

These pics aren't posed? C'mon! Their clothes are still clean!!!

No kids I know stay clean long enough for decent pictures. I mean, all their white clothes are still white.

(Good shots, though.)

Have a GREAT Sunday.

They are not posed other than telling them to "sit here" on the one with all of them, and the two boys. The others were random captures.

I try to shoot fast. By the time they left, the whites were more spotted. :)

steve and david -- the kids were wonderful to work with. one of them was a bit shy at first, but the more they played, the more they loosened up. it really was a lot of fun.

tony -- I know of 5 other cute kids I may have to kidnap one day and take some pictures of as well. ;)
